Nora Akcasu is a Research Assistant in the Department of Oncology and the Population Studies and Disparities Research Program at the Karmanos Cancer Institute. Her previous work includes analyzing cancer providers’ experiences and barriers in addressing patient cost concerns. She is passionate about community-engaged research and supporting LGBTQ+ communities in their cancer journeys.
